KISPEST HEALTH INSTITUTE

The Kispest Health Institute of the XIX. District Municipality of Budapest wanted to create a one-day surgical operating room in the SE wing of the 3rd floor of the building. The part of the institution on the 3rd floor, which will be a separate fire section, will be created essentially by transforming the building itself, without changing its function, as there are currently two small operating rooms on the floor, which no longer meet today's standards. Due to the limited ceiling height and the location of the design area, the mechanical engineering serving the function was placed on the flat roof above it, with noise-shielding walls. Due to the design of the operating room according to the standard, a structural transformation was also necessary. During the transformation, all partition walls of the design area will be demolished, and the boundary walls of the newly designed rooms will be prefabricated, fully meeting today's requirements.
