PETŐFI SÁNDOR CULTURAL CENTER - DESIGN COMPETITION

During the design, our primary goal was to create a community space that integrates the Petőfi Birthplace as a center and functions as a multifunctional community that fits into the life of the city.

With the location and functions of the new buildings, we defined the walls and connection points of the space, thus facilitating community gatherings and interactions.

With the mass of the planned buildings, we adapted to the small-town scale, both in terms of floor area and building height. High roofs rise above the ground floor + 1-story facade, which, when installed, fit the Library and the Cultural Center into the neighboring buildings. They close off the city space with their masses, designating and providing space for an event space suitable for holding community events.
